10th Plenary and Technical Session of ICC for Preah Vihear (19 March 2025)

The 10th Plenary and Technical Session of the International Coordinating Committee for Preah Vihear (ICC-PV) was held at Siem Reap, Cambodia on 19 March 2025. It was presided over by H.E Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts & President of Cambodian National Commission for UNESCO and co-chaired by India and China. Ambassador Vanlalvawna Bawitlung and H.E. Mr. Li Qun, Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism of China, represented their respective countries. In his remarks, the Ambassador reiterated India’s commitment to cooperate with Cambodia and the International community working for heritage conservation in this beautiful country. The team from Archaeological Survey of India apprised the committee on its activities and studies at Gopura V section of the Preah Vihear temple. In her closing remarks, Minister Phoeurng Sackona highlighted the invaluable contributions of India and China toward the preservation, conservation, and sustainable development of the main parts of the Preah Vihear Temple.
