ITEC Alumni Meet (14 March 2025)

On 14 March 2025, the Embassy hosted an Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Alumni Meet to celebrate ITEC’s impact. Ambassador Vanlalvawna Bawitlung welcomed over 70 prominent ITEC alumni from various Cambodian ministries, including H.E. Dr. Som Kimsuor, Auditor General; H.E. Mr. PAUL Pidou, Secretary of State; H.E. Dr. Sao Chivoan, President of Cambodia India Alumni Association; and other senior officials. In his address, Ambassador Bawitlung highlighted India's foreign policy, emphasizing the philosophy of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam'—the world is one family—and how ITEC embodies this through sharing knowledge and skills. H.E. Mr. PAUL Pidou noted the strong cultural ties between India and Cambodia, praising ITEC for its role in capacity building, socio-economic development, and enhancing bilateral solidarity. The event also featured a Kathak dance performance by a troupe from the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage.
